‘Becoming Green’ is what Viridescent means. Lets face it, I’m an artist quite obsessed with colour. After my visit to the Emerald isle for an artist residency, green has featured quite a lot in my work.
Painted in a freeform gestural way with permanent inks allowing textures and shapes to form on the plywood surfaces. The cut pieces, attached in geometric shapes are saved from a previous project. Re-used - totally green!
