Ah, the wonderful Blasket Island, where I visiting whilst on an artists residency on the west of Ireland. I originally painted this whilst researching the history of the island. Some of the wonderful stone houses are still there to see.
The painting was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2024, and the painting sold before the show opened.
My prints are printed onto a high quality archival heavyweight fine art paper, which has a matt textured finish and produces rich colours. Each print is signed by Jo in pencil.
