Exhibitions and Display

Hasler Gallery.  Jo won a commission opportunity to develop new work inspired by collections housed at the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture (MoDA)  2014  

Craft Central, Clerkenwell Gallery space.  Part of a team of designers, creating and selling work in a temporary setting. 2012-201

Zabludowicz Collection shop, Fashion and Textile Museum, Lovely and British.  Invited to sell products 2014.

Bloomsbury Festival, Designers Makers, blink popuparts, selling work in various popup events. 2012-2014

Chelsea Flower Show. Commissioned by garden Designer Jo Thomson to produce an innovative laser-cut shade canopy.  The garden won a Gold medal and ‘Best Urban Garden’ award, 2010.

Crafts Council of Ireland. ‘Embracing Technology’ exhibition 2010

Geffrey Museum  wallpaper was on show as part of an exhibition 'Eco Home' at the Geffrye Museum, London.  The wallpaper and an interview with Jo is now housed in the permanent collection as an example of the movement in eco design  2010

1st prize winner in industry sponsored (Graham & Brown Wallpaper Company) project on the theme of ‘eco wallpaper’. 2008

Joint 2nd prize winner in industry sponsored project by Philips Design entitled ‘Can Smart Design be sustainable?’ Invited by Philips Design to Eindhoven to show the work 2007

Talks, Workshops and Teaching

City Lit and Mary Ward Centre.  Teaching ‘Digital Textiles’ to adult students 2011-now

Career mentorship programme, University of the Arts London.  2013-14.  For a period of six months, acted as a mentor to two recent graduates, meeting them on a monthly basis. 

Network Learning Community, Haringey.  Artist in Residence and Workshop Facilitator for secondary and primary schools to create annual community exhibition of childrens’ work  2013, 2014.

British Museum and Mary Ward Centre.  Workshop Facilitator for community based project to create a large scale mixed media piece of work to celebrate the 40 year independence of Bangladesh. 2011

Highgate Wood Secondary School.  Workshop Facilitator in cross-generational project with school children and elderly members of the community to create 3 large scale mixed media textile pieces.  2010
