The 'Alight' cork blind features a repeat pattern of abstract birds, acorns and leaves.  Small laser cut holes allow light to pass through to create a dappled and magical light.   Besides the decorative aspects, I aim to raise the profile of cork.

Cork is a highly renewable material.  The survival of cork forests hangs in the balance due to lower demand for wine corks. Cork oak forests also host a rich diversity of fauna, animals and birds.

The panels are suitable for window hangings or room dividers and can be combined with gossamer fabrics to create magical light diffusing effects.
